This, 28’ x 32’ x 10’ Gable Style Room in the Roof, was designed to have storage above without any living space & a small room for their generator. It matches the roof pitch of the existing home. We used Smartpanel T-1-11 and the owner installed their own steel roofing, our Monolithic footing and slab. The exterior stairway was chosen to give them plenty of room to get stuff in and out of the upstairs. A pull down staircase could be used but they are kind of tight and steep.
